Introducing… #draw2discover

A couple months ago, our founders started realizing that their son, Henry was at that age where kids start to question EVERYTHING! His quest for accumulating knowledge on things that we as adults take for granted has set us down the path to educating the masses of all ages!

Thus #draw2discover was born, a weekly comic series where our project manager and resident doodler, Andi Kur, helps answer Henry’s questions through sequential storytelling!

So far we’ve covered a variety of subject matter, from clocks, to telephone wires and even phosphates! Henry has been a wealth of questions, and it’s helped us better understand what the next generation sees as valuable and important at the base level of education to better prepare content for those “Henrys” out there asking the bigger and more elaborate questions…

So stay tuned every week as we share more #draw2discover posts! You can simply follow us on your favorite social media (Instagram, Twitter, Facebook) where we post every Friday. Or, come check out the content here on our NEWS page, where we share a little more insight into Henry’s question and Andi’s answer!

Oh! And don’t forget, you don’t have to be Henry to ask a question! We’d love to hear your questions too! Feel free to comment below and ask us what you’d like to see in a #draw2discover comic!

Comics forever!

I am person over the moon about science and reading; working to keep all the goodness in the world going, growing and motivating us to partner to make beautiful—actionable—sequential art.

That was my inspiration in founding SP Comics: the idea of helping to attain the dream of living in a better world by bringing the best talents in each of us together.

My favorite tools (these days…) to create art, in order, are

  1. paint brushes and rough canvas

  2. iPad Pro, loaded with Procreate—or equally as much my Remarkable tablet

  3. excel spreadsheets

I like to listen to white noise, Bach, Tool, Stravinsky, Delta Blues and my yearly music collections while gentle sounds glide past my headphones from favorite shops, Crema and Portland Brew.
